Jesuit senior Chloe Foerster overcame illness to win the 1,500 meters in 4:24.39 to break the 1981 state meet record held by Kathy Hayes, and came back to hold off her freshman teammate Emma Bennett down the stretch of the 800, winning that in 2:09.60. Bennett enjoyed a breakout day with PRs in the 1,500 (US#9 4:27.09) and 800 (2:10.59). |
